@Blxiseutd I thought the same. His injury situation is really worrying, especially when we’ll be playing a lot of games this coming season. It looks like we might need to get a replacement.

@lekiano_empire I was gutted when Villa signed him from Leicester and wondered how on earth we missed out on him. The days of Ed Woodward chasing overpriced marquee signings.
I’ve waited so long for this signing! Better late than never. I have always thought Tielemans had the quality to be a Man Utd player. I have followed him since he was at Anderlecht. I vividly remember him scoring two worldies with his left and right foot in 3 min at Anderlecht.
Manchester United’s reported £35 million signing of Youri Tielemans is exactly the kind of business the club should be doing. At 29, Tielemans is a proven Premier League midfielder with the passing range, intelligence, versatility, and work rate to elevate any side. For that price, he is an outright bargain.
Just as important is the way the deal has been handled. By keeping negotiations out of the spotlight, United have avoided the leaks, inflated fees, and needless drama that have plagued previous transfer windows. The agreement appears to have been completed efficiently and on the club’s terms, a clear sign of a more disciplined and competent approach.
The Criticism of Tielemans’ age misses the point entirely. Elite experience has real value, and securing a player of his quality for £35 million, while also adding André Santos for a combined outlay of around £85 million, is outstanding business.
Rather than being held hostage by agents or paying whatever the market demands, United are finally showing the resolve to walk away from overpriced deals and target genuine value.
This is the Manchester United fans have been waiting to see: decisive, strategic, and unafraid to back its own judgment. If this is the standard going forward, there is every reason to be excited for the season ahead.#mufc
@Moses_Silva101 Haha, same here. He's always been one of my favourite players to watch. I support every team he plays for except when he plays against United. I'm always captivated by his quality on the ball and passing range. I'm sure Carrick sanctioned this one specially.
@Blxiseutd I love the new Man Utd business model. They are buying real quality, whether young or experienced. No longer impulsively buying players based on hype. You can tell the data analysis department is doing a good job.
🚨2️⃣ Manchester United to announce both new midfield signings soon for £85m total fee add-ons included.
🇧🇪 Tielemans, medical tomorrow, £35m.
🇧🇷 Andrey Santos, medical done and deal signed, £50m.
❌ Éderson, off since Friday despite denials.

@Blxiseutd I've waited so long for this signing that I gave up hope we would ever sign him. Top-quality player, very ambidextrous. So many games under his belt, and he's always been a starter everywhere he played. Bringing a lot of experience to the team. I’m pleased.
