@LutherWalt7@Buster_ESPN It’s unlikely the poster doesn’t understand the math. Their only point is that they are playing like a 99 win team. Nothing more-nothing less.
@TigsTown@clay_snowden2 Sincere question as I don’t know the inner workings of trades, buying and selling etc. What would be get in return for Skubal? More than a first round pic? We’d need a big haul, Yes?
@TigersData Sample sizes are still too small. Random variation, specific pitchers caught, and other factors have distorted the win% and ERA differences more than the catchers’ actual impact.
@mfoiii@DetroitTigersPR@tigers As Lucas said, it’s easy to figure out the problem: multiple injuries and 5-9 order hitting under .200
McKinstry has been better the last 15 games.
@PresselGavin@timdevaney@Miggysbat@tigers There’s another half season of baseball left. Guys like McKinstry and Tork are heating up to help the triple threat: McG, Riley and Dingler.
@mcavoy_jim58@Miggysbat Yanks aren’t bangin on all cylinders but I don’t think that takes away from what the Tigers did against them. At one point Detroit had the most team injuries but they just keep plugging away. 10 games under .500 right before the AS game is not insurmountable.
