Not exactly the same, but I've seen some really bizarre and sometimes offensive mistranslations when I've played with Chat GPT. Like when looking up Ecuadorian slang, it claimed that hug was "rechucha" which is super vulgar. Weird little lies sprinkled into the algorithm.
