One thing I noticed in ATLA, is that All members of TEAM AVATAR grew in their craft.

For Aang — From being an Air Nomad who shy ways from being the Avatar, He grew in his craft & became Master of all Elements in one year before he faced the FireLord.

Sokka — From being a Southern Water Tribe boomerang guy, to becoming a Profesional Swordsman after completing his training from Master Piandao.

Katara – From being a not-so-good waterbender, she learned from Master Paku and became a Water bending Master, and also a Healing Specialist of the Southern Water Tribe.

Zuko – From being a hot tempered firebending Teenager, he learnt from the original masters of fire bending Rhan and Shau, Learnt Lightening redirection from his uncle, learnt Fighting techniques from Katara, Toph, Aang and used those techniques against Azula and controlled the tempo of the fight, and Lightening redirection against his father. – Way to go Zuko!! 👏 👏 👏 😊

Toph – From being a blind helpless girl, she learnt from the Original Earth benders, The Bargermoles. She developed Siesmic sense, developed Metal bending, trained two Avatars, opened a metal behind school and trained her students. She became the first Chief of police in Republic City.

These guys were never the same, as they travel round the world together for the same mission, they all learnt from the masters of their element and became masters too.

Growth This is an important element in every quality friendships.
