Just for some context, the individual who faked telling Nova they're a minor is extremely weird as well. Their twitter username has "shedtwt", which is short for saying that they're involved with both the self harm and eating disorder communities on this app.

Multiple studies have been done which show that not only have these communities caused severe harm to people, but they've caused multiple deaths as well. (links at the bottom)

As you could probably tell, these are extremely dangerous and problematic parts of the platform. They post the most depraved shit ever. The ED people literally encourage anorexia and regularly shame people who aren't deathly skinny even if they're a healthy size. Not like it's any better if they are overweight. I mean it's statistically healthier to simply be overweight than anorexic. And even extreme morbid obesity to be honest. (though all of these are extremely unhealth)

But what's arguably worse is the self harm community. These people literally encourage self mutilation. From what I've seen, a majority of them excuse it by saying its some kind of therapeutic act which is the most absurd thing ever. But the other part of them are literally just insane masochists that enjoy doing those deranged things and encouraging others to do so as well.

Also just to point out, I don't think nor am I saying that anyone involved in those communities are automatically evil, sick, or bad people. All of them regardless of their mentality regarding the ethics or health concerns of what they partake in and/or encourage are suffering immensely, and I only hope they all get the help they need.

From what I can tell, this person does seem to be a minor, so I'm not going to be overly harsh or critical. But the combination of them being involved in those weird communities as well as their experiences with Nova make me think that this is a person with issues and I sincerely hope they distance themselves from these communities and get proper help.
