Talk to any educator and they will tell you THIS: Unless you’ve been in schools the past 2 years, you can’t understand it, AND… even though they have been in schools the past 2 years, it would take too many words to explain it to you.

@TexasGovGuy @GregAbbott_TX I believe administrators are qualified to serve on the committee, and I think they should; however, if the topic is around teacher retention, wouldn’t it make sense to have at least 50% of the committee be active teachers. We have to work together!

@GregAbbott_TX if you really wanted answers as to why teachers are leaving the classroom, your task force would be made up of MORE Classroom teachers. Who better to hear it from than the people leaving the profession? You have to do better than this!
