@leroy_ellis been painting for a few years now(self taught), and still struggling to find my own personal style) how do you break out of a rut?

@leroy_ellis I think I'm trying too hard to be inside the organized box. I've studied a few old school artists, Klee, Kandinsky, Basquiat and feel I'm really drawn to Basquiat but still painting a mixture of the other2.

@leroy_ellis Yeah, I do enjoy reconstructing old paintings, removing layers, etc.
I think I was drawn to your art because of how intense it is. I'll definitely keep at It. I'll post something soon!
