The timelines are a real treat these days. Instead of celebration, they’re packed with expert analysis of a member people claim to hate and desperately want gone, complete with full conspiracy packages: he looked a little off, he seemed cold, something must be wrong… maybe he’s sick, sad, or just suffered a tragic breakup. It almost makes you wonder if you accidentally watched a completely different show because the fancams stubbornly insist on showing the same person smiling, delivering strong vocals, dancing with full heart, and connecting with fans through signs, mouthed thank-yous, handshakes, gifts, and fist bumps.

And of course there’s no winning. If he’s playful with the other members, he’s clearly seeking attention. If he keeps to himself, somehow he’s still seeking attention. Damn if he does, damn if he doesn’t. Consistency is key, after all.

And it’s exhausting in a way that goes far beyond casual commentary. It’s constant finger-pointing, blaming, mockery dressed up as concern. It’s a hate train that starts from the tiniest misreading of an action especially the friendly moments that members actually discuss and practice behind the scenes so they look natural and effortless on stage. What looks like genuine chemistry and understanding only works because it’s rehearsed. A truly spontaneous gesture would just confuse the other members. If they’re not practiced backstage, they’re whispered in ears right before they happen. Yet even those carefully planned moments get twisted into something negative.

All of this unnecessary drama doesn’t just tire you out.. it occupies so much of your headspace. You find yourself dwelling on scenarios that were never real in the first place. It’s emotionally draining because you’ve become invested in a story that has nothing to do with what actually happened, and it doesn’t end there. You feel like you have to fight for that story. Anyone who disagrees must be dragged down, and so must the artist they’ve decided is the villain.

This won’t stop. It will never end. The more popular he becomes, the more haters will gather. Love and hate travel together.. envy is simply the shadow of wanting something you don’t have.

What we can control is our own actions. We can choose to indulge in their misery or completely shut it off, exactly what our favourite does. We all have to practice the art of not giving a fuck, especially when protecting our sanity is the goal. Let’s stay focused on him rather than on what other fans say. They’re only as important as we decide to make them.

Because deep down, when we watch a concert or any content from an artist we love, all we really want is pure hype.. sharing clips, quoting interviews, celebrating the music, admiring the hard work, getting lost in the visuals. There’s so much happiness waiting there. But all of it gets sucked away by the constant focus on negativity.

So let’s focus on streaming, voting, engaging with official content, and spreading his music and work positively. 💜🫶🏻

@thvnewl No, the company itself is pushing this narrative, members family are organising and encouraging these behaviour. It’s sad how members see this as a money making operation, like yes it’s funding and competiting the financial expenditures of obsessed people, but also calling danger

I’ve been following Taehyung since 2014, and in over ten years, the one thing I’m sure of is his character

As an adult myself, I know where I stand, and whether I choose to support him or not is my decision alone. What I will never do is join an online courtroom to throw him to the wolves or accuse him of things he hasn't done

​Every adult is responsible for their own path, but my respect for him as a person and an artist remains unchanged. Today, all I feel for him is genuine pride. To me, Taehyung remains one of the greatest, most talented living artists I’ve ever had the privilege to follow

Let’s get one thing straight with a bare minimum of intellectual honesty: domestic violence and human rights are grave, real-world issues, not currency for clout-chasing on the internet

​Namjoon and J-Hope messed up big time. Giving a platform and visibility to someone with a rotten background goes against every value they’ve ever preached, and holding them accountable for that failure is completely valid. But the hypocrisy displayed by some of you is just as repulsive

​Treating two artists as if they were the actual perpetrators of a crime, while keeping their pictures in your profile, their names in your headers, and your concert tickets locked in for the end of the month, is the pinnacle of online performative outrage. You don’t care about women’s rights; you’re just addicted to the likes, the engagement, and the drama this situation fuels for your accounts

​If you truly believe the artists you follow are criminals, have the decency to drop the fandom, cancel your tickets, and move on. Using the genuine trauma of domestic violence victims to boost your own internet ego under the guise of activism is pathetic.

Demand accountability? Yes, do it. But stop using a critical human rights cause as a backdrop for your online clout-chasing. Get a grip
