im not kidding when i say the summer hikaru died has some of the best queer representation and symbolism to ever exist in written and drawn form. it touches so many beautiful and intricate aspects and i will never feel normal over it.
just caught up and I'm so happy about yoshiki's progression it's such beautiful writing. after everything he suffered as a queer kid in a dogmatic village it's so uplifting to see a young gay character overcome it for once with such hopeful and open imagery. happy pride baby
