@NewyTechPeople@GreaterBankAU You might think of front end when you think of the clarity designers can bring to a team. We also have designers working with Solution Architects to describe backstage processes, but with a framing of customer experience. This helps non technical people understand its value.

Despite the progress we make as individuals, there is something wrong with the systems of our society that causes deeply unfair outcomes for our First Nations people.
Something has to change in our politics, law and education systems to close this gap.

@MatiasUrbano@jnowland@laurie_jones For sure! FED / UX pairing and designing in browser can produce some really powerful results.
We work in fireteams where devs and designers pick up stories at the same time to come up with a game plan together. It’s a really enjoyable way to work. I recommend checking it out. 😁
@AndrewStace@_neozenith@jnowland That’s it. I hadn’t heard of dialectical design. I’ve learned something new. Thanks. 🙂
I reckon when you come to a solution organically, and then later find out other people have also come to the same end, it’s a good sign that there’s some truth to it.
This “Beyond Blue drinking challenge” is so dumb. It takes 2 secs to realise it’s fake. BB wouldn’t use a drinking game to raise awareness. You’d have to be tone deaf not to see why.
But I suppose any kind of “look at me” challenge is too enticing for narcicists in isolation.
Did you know your local Men’s Shed make wooden toys to order? Give them your design and the old boys will happily build a rocking horse / doll house / toy truck for your little one with the profits going to a great cause.
