UPDATE:

Two weeks ago, I presented to the Scottish Government and submitted a formal proposal to establish an Expert Reference Group (ERG) for Bitcoin.

It wasn’t about investing, it was about learning, and how Scotland could attract the Bitcoin industry. I focused on three areas:

- Financial Services
- Investment & Business Attraction
- Energy

There is already an ERG set up for Digital Assets in Scots Private Law but my proposal is focused solely on Bitcoin.

This morning, I received confirmation that the proposal has been circulated to members of the Digital Assets ERG, which includes the Deputy President of the UK Supreme Court.

Scotland has a chance to lead, not follow. The conversation is moving, and that matters.
