Ironic: for years I’ve thought @CoachKellyWells would be a perfect fit as the head coach at MSU. As it turns out I guess he’ll be tasked with hiring that person instead. My bet is they end up with a home run hire!
@RobDauster@GoodmanHoops If you were drafting current college team rosters based strictly on the talent level roughly what tier would you draft Kentucky’s?
Some folks who can’t forgive Calipari for taking a chance by taking Shaedon Sharpe — a No. 1 recruit he got on campus for four months — are the same who are all-in on taking DJ Wagner’s step brother as a walk-on, signing his whole high school team and hiring his whole family.
The play-in tournament is the best adjustment the NBA has made in decades. Improved the regular season. Created meaningful games before the first round even starts. Don’t change any of it.
The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee has approved the 11 game officials recommended by J.D. Collins, the national coordinator of officiating, for the 2022 #MFinalFour.
….if Jacob Toppin is going to come off of off-ball actions into confident catch-and-shoot 18 footers and then pick-and-pop into a pump-fake, left-hand straight line drive finish, we might be talking about something very different for him moving forward.
The whistle was clearly blown as ball was in the air. But, in that split second did any defender just stop playing and say, “oh the whistle blew?” Seems like the right and just determination was made.
Here’s how charge-block calls (on a secondary/help defender) should be viewed by officials. Stop saying it’s a “bang bang play” that’s a “50-50” call. It’s not. If it’s 50-50, it’s a BLOCK. A charge on a secondary defender should be like a criminal case…beyond reasonable doubt.
I’m here for all of this. @JalenRose and @realchriswebber did too much for the game together for whatever came between them to last any longer. Great moment.
This is crazy.
Gary Trent: Starts his career in Portland, averages 10 points per game there, traded to Toronto 41 games into his third season.
Gary Trent Jr.: Starts his career in Portland, averages 10 points per game there, traded to Toronto 41 games into his third season.
All respect to Mike Conley, a great player and person, but no way did he deserve an All Star nod over SGA.
Can’t say team record cause Zion + Beal. SGA’s stats blow Conley’s away.
This is a lifetime achievement award. Respect.
But don’t get it twisted: it should’ve been SGA.
