Thank you for following our journey. We're building Mithorra with one goal: helping small businesses attract more customers, build trust, and grow through strategic marketing and digital visibility.
The best is yet to come. 🚀
Hi, I'm Fatimoh Olaitan Yusuf, book marketer & founder of MITHORRA. 📚
I help authors navigate book visibility, discoverability, positioning & marketing.
Authors: what's your biggest struggle right now, discovery, readers, reviews, branding, promotion or sales?
#indiewriter
Your book has a genre. But does it have a recognizable identity?
“Romance” tells readers the category. Your themes, tropes, tone & reader promise tell them “this is for me.”
What makes your book recognizable beyond its genre?
#author#indiewriter#BookClub#selfpublishedauthor
Two book descriptions:
A: “Emma returns home and discovers a letter revealing a family secret.”
B: “What if the secret your family protected for years was the same secret that destroyed your life?”
Which makes you click?
A explains. B creates curiosity.
A or B, and why?
A synopsis tells me what happens.
A marketing message tells me why I should care.
Don't use your book description to explain everything.
Give the right reader a reason to want the story. 📚

“Award-winning.” “Bestselling.” “Highly acclaimed.”
Great credentials. But the reader still asks: “Why should I care?”
Credibility builds trust. Relevance creates interest.
Does your book marketing communicate both? 📚

Description: What is my book about?
Positioning: Who is it for, why should they care, and what makes it relevant?
Don't just describe your book.
Help the right reader recognize why it's for them. 📚

Give your book page 5 seconds.
Can a stranger tell:
What it is?
Who it's for?
Why read it?
Why trust it?
What to do next?
If not, audit before promoting. 📚
Go to our website https://t.co/rHrYQ5Ik0Q and use the free book visibility analyzer to know what's for against your book
Premise = what your book is about.
Reader promise = what the reader can expect from it.
“A detective investigates disappearances” is a premise.
“A tense mystery full of clues and twists” is the promise.
Which does your description communicate? 📚
Don't run ads on a book nobody can find organically.
Ads amplify traffic. They don't fix weak discoverability, positioning, keywords, categories or a poor book page
If you stopped ads today, how would a stranger find your book?

Before spending another dollar on book ads, audit first.
Check your discoverability, positioning, description, metadata, reviews & book page.
Use our free Book Visibility Analyzer: https://t.co/rHrYQ5Ik0Q → Book Marketing.
What would you audit first?
#SelfGrowth#indieauthor
You publish your book.
Then you check the reviews.
2 reviews. Still 2.
It can make you question everything.
But few reviews don't automatically mean a bad book.
If you're an author with few reviews, how does it honestly make you feel?

You have reviews. Great.
But don't only count them.
Read them.
What do readers repeatedly mention about your book?
That language can reveal what actually connects with your audience.
What keeps appearing in your reviews?

Reviews aren't just social proof.
They help new readers answer:
“Is this book worth my time?”
Specific reviews can build confidence, set expectations, and help readers see themselves in your book.
Would yours convince you?

Where are you losing your readers?
Discover → Click → Investigate → Trust → Buy.
If your book isn't selling, don't just ask for more promotion.
Find the stage where readers are dropping off.
Which one is yours?

Your book's funnel:
Discover → Click → Investigate → Trust → Buy
Readers can be lost at every stage.
They may never find you, never click, leave your book page, lack confidence, or simply not feel ready to buy.
Where is your biggest leak?
10,000 followers or 1,000 highly relevant readers?
I'd take the 1,000.
For authors, a smaller audience that actually reads, recommends and cares about your genre can be more valuable than a huge audience that doesn't.
Which would you choose?

Audience size ≠ visibility.
10K followers doesn't guarantee discoverability.
300 followers doesn't mean you're invisible.
Audience = people who know you.
Visibility = ways strangers can find your book.
Which one are you actually missing?
https://t.co/VvNVtTU4Ca
You don't necessarily need more followers.
You need more ways for people who don't know you yet to discover your book.
