The Justice Dept and the court system failed to uphold the principle that no one is above the law.
DOJ by neglecting to promptly investigate the events of Jan 6, and the courts by willfully delaying progress of the case and providing immunity.

On election day voters passed Proposition K there, so it will now be permanent! @StreetsblogSF@LukeBornheimer

Great afternoon cutting the ribbon on the newly renovated Caroline Freeland Park w/ @MontgomeryParks, @mitifig@mkorman, @SarahSWolek & a huge community turnout! Named for a trailblazing champion of urban parks & design, it’s a much needed activated open space for the downtown.
As a Brit, I've been watching the American election results with sorrow for my American friends. Some are comparing it to the Brexit vote here, imagining if we'd voted for Brexit twice. But here's the thing... in a sense, we did. And here are some lessons from it. 🧵
In the coming days there's gonna be a lot of opining about what the Harris campaign did wrong, but this election was not an indictment of Kamala Harris. It was an indictment of America.
