Oh really? Teesta Setalvad was about to be arrested. She ran to the Supreme Court. A two judge bench heard her the same day. Verdict was split. News reached Chief Justice. He stepped out of a dance concert and ordered a three judge bench. Bench sat at 10 pm and stayed her arrest.

“We reject such studies that tell us to remove our burqas” — says Muslim students.
A doctor asked female medical students to wear aprons in the labour room instead of burqas at Government Medical College, Doda, Jammu & Kashmir.
They protested. They chanted Allahu Akbar and Nara-e-Takbir. Now the doctor faces an inquiry.
Read that again.
This is a government medical college. A labour room. A place that demands hygiene, identification, and professional uniform — not religious costume as a substitute for clinical dress.
Patients in labour do not get a vote on whose faith comes first. Staff must be identifiable. Sterile protocol is not optional.
The students say the burqa is their “pride and identity” and that asking them to wear an apron is an attack on Islam. That is the claim. The demand that followed was an apology and suspension of Gynaecology Head Dr Madhu Chib.
During the protest, police personnel reportedly questioned the students over slogans such as “Allahu Akbar” and “Nara-e-Takbir,” reportedly reminding them that the hospital is a medical institution and not an Islamic institution.
Yet the institution’s first official move was an inquiry against the doctor who enforced a dress standard.
Ask the real questions:
Why should a labour room bend to religious clothing over standard medical uniform?
Why are religious war cries treated as legitimate protest language inside a hospital campus?
Why is the person upholding protocol under investigation, while those mixing faith slogans with clinical space are framed as victims?
I can’t stop laughing bhai 😂😂😂

Classic example case of ModiAct:
I own some land near Warangal, Telangana. It is the second plot from the main road. A realtor made a non-gated layout and illegally built a compound wall around it, blocking access to my land. He is politically influential and, to my knowledge, close to KCR’s family. I complained, and the authorities ruled in my favour.
In the first week of November 2022, officials came to remove the wall. The realtor’s goons abused the officials, stopped the work and beat my land caretaker while my caretaker recorded the incident on a phone.
Afterward, the police accused my caretaker and me under the Atrocities Act, alleging that the video had been taken while some SC boys were urinating. I was in the US when this happened. The police confiscated my caretaker’s phone and threatened to arrest us. When I pointed out that I had been outside India, they told me, “Go and tell the court.”
We stepped back, and no FIR was ultimately filed. Nearly four years later, the wall still stands and the authorities’ decision has not been carried out.
The access dispute was between two upper caste persons. No SC person was a party to it. The realtor used one of his persons to make the allegation and stop the wall’s removal.
This is why I call it ModiAct. The threat of an atrocity case was enough to halt an official decision in my favour and leave me facing arrest, while I was abroad.
I am attaching the video. For capturing this video I was threatened with ModiAct.
Even today, I do not know how to get the wall removed.

I’ll say it again, and louder:
Brahmins are the new Jews of India.
Vishnu Tiwari spent 20 years rotting in jail on a fabricated SC-ST + rape case.
Lost everything.
Family dead.
Land gone.
Walked out at 43 with nothing.
UP government told NHRC:
“Not a human rights violation. No compensation.”
Because he’s Brahmin.
If the same man was SC-ST,
Modi himself would have flown down,
folded hands,
cameras flashing,
compensation cheque in hand.
But a Brahmin’s life destroyed?
Silence.
Procedure.
Move on.
This is not justice.
This is open, state-backed caste-selective hatred.
Clear footgae ! The IIT BOMBAY professor Dr Doolla deserves an apology from the government & opposition!
The SC-ST act case should be withdrawn asap!
Give Professor Doolla compensation!!

WTF INDIA
He should show human rights to judge
Day is not far away when people will turn against state
Mark my words @narendramodi@AmitShah
Is this the country we live in and want our children to live
Happy for people who discard Indian passport for foreign citizenship
State rejects compensation to Vishnu Tiwari on 'Humanitarian grounds'. In a reply to National Human Rights Commission, the UP govt says spending 20 years in jail in a false case of the SC-ST act was not the case for Human rights violations.
CCTV CAPTURES SAHIL WAKODE IN EXAM HALL LOOKING AT OBJECT KEPT IN HIS POCKET.
Sources tell @shawansen that CCTV footage has emerged as a crucial piece of evidence in the Crime Branch probe into the death of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode.
Between 12:30 PM and 12:45 PM, with around 15 minutes left for the exam, Sahil was seen bending down and looking at something kept in his pocket.
A professor then questioned Sahil and took him aside, away from the other students.
After leaving the examination hall, Sahil was seen walking across the campus before entering his hostel room at around 1:25 PM.
Sources say he did not leave the room thereafter.
@ajeetbharti@narendramodi@AshwiniVaishnaw@AmitShah
INDIA is doomed as political party even BJP is doing caste politics- DIVIDE and RULE to stay in power
Shame on INDIA 🇮🇳
Constitution is promoting discrimination and channelling hatred towards fellow citizens.
AMEND SCRAP REFORM
Fear of the SC/ST Act can make upper-caste people withdraw from everyday contact with Dalits no shared food, no casual company. Employers may also become wary of taking them on. Firms may also hold back on hiring. After that comes the familiar charge: you are casteist, you discriminate.
The SC/ST Act was the Modi govt's Shah Bano moment.
The Supreme Court took action against a draconian law; and the govt reinstated the law and made it worse.
A friendly and secular reminder on this Ganesh Chaturthi.
The Islamic rulers of Bengal were so secular that they incorporated Hindu gods into Islamic monuments.
Sikandar Shah built the Adina Masjid in Malda between 1369 and 1373 CE, and then he put a Ganesha murti on the wall and another one on the lalatabimba of a doorway within the masjid.
If you say Adina masjid was actually a Shiva temple named Adinath mandir, you are a Hindu supremacist, a gobar bhakt, andhbhakt, and certainly a saffron terrorist!
(Second image by ‘Temples with Atanu’)
1. SC/ST act was passed on 11 Sep, 1989 (by Rajiv Gandhi govt).
2. It was notified on 29 Jan, 1990 (by VP Singh govt, supported by BJP).
3. Major changes introduced in SC/ST act during 2014-2016 (BJP tenure):
-Enhanced relief amounts (up to 8.5 lakhs)
-Relaxed payment structure
-Faster payment
-Increased offenses from 22 to 47
-A stricter presumption of guilt
-Mandatory & exclusive special courts
4. In 2018, Supreme Court introduced 3 safeguards saying act was misused for blackmail (in Kashinath Mahajan case). But BJP passed an amendment to nullify the Supreme Court judgement & added section 18A, which added following provisions:
-No preliminary inquiry
-No bail
-No prior approval for arrest (for public servants)
5. Multiple high courts, police reports, NCRB reports show the act being misused, esp for monetary compensation.
But instead of stopping the misuse, what BJP govt is doing?
-Planning 40% increase in compensation amount (upto 12 lakhs)
So, Inference?
- If BJP govt had not nullified the Supreme Court judgement, @ajeetbharti would have been safe.
But because of section 18A, added by BJP, his bail was denied.
-If BJP had not increased the compensation amounts or made the payment easier/faster without any scrutiny, the maximum misuse could have been prevented.
-If BJP had not added provision of denial of bail/no preliminary enquiry (18A again), the act wouldn't have become draconian and used for blackmailing people
-Despite rampant misuse, and knowing that money is the primary factor, instead of taking actions to prevent misuse, if you increase the monetary compensation, it only means you want to promote misuse.
So yes, it is aptly called "Modi Act".
Nahi to kisko credit de iska?
Barabanki, 2021. Gang rape is reported. FIR is filed without investigation. Accuser is given monetary compensation. Two men are arrested. One of them dies in jail. Four years later a court declares the entire case is fabricated.
A deep-dive into the SC/ST Act with @prasadaditi:
A dead MIT professor accidentally destroyed the $25 billion executive coaching industry with one hour of lecture, and ten million people have already watched him do it.
He filmed it once in January 2018 and died eighteen months later.
Executive coaches charge sixteen thousand dollars a session to teach a third of what he covered in that one hour for free.
His name was Patrick Winston. He ran the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 1972 to 1997 and wrote the AI textbook every computer science major in the world read for thirty years.
Every January for four decades, he gave a lecture called "How to Speak."
His entire framework fits on a napkin.
Do not read. Be in the image. Keep images simple. Eliminate clutter. Start with an empathetic connection. End with a punch line the audience can repeat over dinner. Never open with a joke. Never end with "thank you."
That last rule alone has probably cost the executive coaching industry a hundred million dollars.
"Your success in life will be determined largely by your ability to speak, your ability to write, and the quality of your ideas. In that order."
That is the actual opening line of the lecture. Winston believed it strongly enough to spend fifty years teaching computer scientists how to talk.
Founders spend $80,000 on an MBA and then hire a communications coach to teach them the same material Winston filmed once for free. Engineers write brilliant code and lose promotions to teammates who watched this lecture on the train.
The lecture is free on MIT OpenCourseWare. The textbook is free on his page.
Winston died in 2019. Almost none of the ten million viewers have actually implemented the four rules on the napkin.
The napkin is free. The willingness to actually use it in your next meeting is the entire edge.
The answer is in this video. Don't miss this gem.
