People who say "a lethal dose hasn't been established for mitragynine" are wrong. Here's one study we covered years ago. There's also a lethal dose for tomatoes. These weak ass arguments by uneducated lobbyists need to end https://t.co/hfvFaHBwsg
📢 Georgia Kratom Consumers and Supporters: We Need You in the Room
On June 17 at 9:00 AM, Georgia lawmakers will hold the first meeting of a newly formed committee focused on kratom and other retail products. The decisions and discussions that begin at this meeting could help shape the future of kratom policy in our state.
If natural kratom leaf has made a positive difference in your life, now is the time to pay attention and get involved.
Most advocates agree that products marketed to minors have no place in our communities. Strong age restrictions, product testing, and accurate labeling are common-sense protections. At the same time, policymakers must understand the important difference between natural kratom leaf and highly concentrated synthetic products that have recently entered the marketplace.
A respectful, visible turnout sends a powerful message that responsible adult consumers are paying attention and want regulations based on science, facts, and public safety.

📍 18 Capitol Square SW, Atlanta, GA
📅 June 17, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM
Try to arrive a little early to allow time for security screening.
I will be there, and I encourage anyone who uses kratom responsibly to attend if you are able. Lawmakers need to hear from real people whose lives have been impacted by this plant. Even if you do not speak, your presence helps show that this community is engaged and paying attention.
Bring a friend, be respectful, and let's make sure our voices are heard.

NBA player Brandon Clarke was charged with "trafficking" in Arkansas for possessing kratom.
Not fentanyl.
Not heroin.
Kratom.
A plant used by millions of Americans.
Just weeks later, Clarke tragically passed away in Los Angeles at only 29 years old. And almost immediately, some people began connecting the two stories as if the cause of death had already been determined.
Here's the problem:
As of now, authorities have not publicly confirmed how he died.
No official cause of death.
No public toxicology report.
No evidence showing kratom played any role.
Yet headlines and assumptions spread faster than facts.
This is what happens when a legal plant in most of America is treated like a major narcotic in a handful of states. People see the word "trafficking" and automatically assume the worst.
Brandon Clarke's family deserves answers based on evidence, not speculation.
And the public deserves policies based on science, not fear.

However anyone interprets this subjective. The fact that it's getting traction and is being considered for OUD is promising. The FDA is absolutely NOT industry funded, so "their" biggest argument is in the toilet. #KeepKratomLegal

🌿 Every kratom advocate matters.
The truth is, lawmakers, reporters, and the public don't need another statistic they need to hear from real people.
If kratom has helped you stay active, get through a difficult time, manage discomfort, improve your quality of life, or simply be a better version of yourself, your story matters.
Too often, decisions are made by people who have never met the millions of responsible adults who use kratom. That's why it's so important for advocates to speak up, share their experiences, and educate others about what kratom is—and what it isn't.
You don't have to be an expert. You don't need a large following. You just need your voice.
Tell your story. Share accurate information. Have respectful conversations. Help others understand why protecting access to natural kratom matters.
The future of kratom won't be shaped by companies or organizations alone. It will be shaped by everyday people willing to stand up and say, "This plant made a difference in my life."
Your story could be the one that changes a mind, influences a lawmaker, or helps someone feel less alone.
🌿 Speak up. Share your experience. Be an advocate.

I know a lot of Tennessee consumers are feeling anxious right with the July 1st ban.
At MitraSpec, we've heard from many customers who are stocking up before the deadline. To help, we've created a special discount for so you can prepare. 💚
Funny how every time a tragic story hits the news, the headline is "kratom."
Not obesity. Not alcohol. Not prescription medications. Not the countless substances that actually dominate overdose statistics.
Just kratom.
If we're going to talk about restrictions, let's start with restrictions on bad reporting.
Show the toxicology report. Show all contributing factors. Show the full context.
Because "trust us, it was kratom" isn't science it's a headline.
Millions of adults use kratom responsibly every day. They deserve facts, not fear campaigns.
JUST IN: American Shaman, Missouri’s largest kratom distributor, is suspending all in-state sales effective immediately.
Any retailer who uses free samples and misleading marketing to hook consumers, especially those struggling with addiction, will face swift enforcement.
I’m officially a Kratom Gal!
I was genuinely caught off guard when they announced it, and I feel incredibly honored to be included with such passionate women who care deeply about education, advocacy, and protecting access to natural kratom.
As many of you know, this plant has had a profound impact on my life and on our family business, MitraSpec. Being part of a group of women who are working together to share the truth and fight for responsible access means more to me than words can express.
Thank you to the amazing Kratom Gals for welcoming me into this sisterhood. I’m excited for what we can accomplish together. 💚 @KratomStory@rsdcrpsfire@BAE_BotanicalAE@KratomButterfly

That’s so awesome. Here’s a picture of my late father who used Kratom as a harm reduction tool
Gone too soon. Wish he could see the totally awesome and amazing scientific progress

It’s hard to ignore the reality: alcohol is sold on every corner despite being linked to enormous harm, addiction, and death every year. Yet some lawmakers continue targeting kratom, a natural plant that many people use for pain relief, recovery support, and harm reduction.
Millions of adults have used kratom to leave opioids behind, cut back on alcohol, and regain control of their lives.
I’ve seen stories of families reunited, careers rebuilt, and lives transformed because people had access to this plant.
Protect consumers. Regulate responsibly. But don’t take away something that is helping so many people.

But wait, I thought it was "so deadly". THEY want it banned. THEY have tortured us long enough. Now NIH sees the value? Will THEY be protesting in front of NIH? Looks like a potential solution huh? We've been SCREAMING this for 13 years! #KeepKratomLegal
