I didn’t take my art seriously until I was 29 and taught myself how to paint (I was too afraid to learn color theory in college and took only drawing classes). I don’t get my first big break until I was 32. Now at 36 I do this for my living and I still have so much more to do
@lifeg6es6n ouat and supergirl are largely wlw but the ship isn’t canon and the of show is mid, she-ra has a canon lesbian main couple, arcane has one too and the show is great. all of those have great fics
I remember being 23 and feeling super discouraged, but just in case anyone needs to hear it, I quit my job as a market research analyst (I went to university for marketing) and went back to school for animation at 23, and I didn't work as a background artist until I was 30.
