if you could give each of the tannies a mitski song to cover what would you give them? — love the question but since it’s ot7 oriented i’m gonna cheat and suggest mitski songs that remind me of each member instead!

The Jewish Israeli co-director of the documentary No Other Land, Yuval Abraham:
"End the occupation. End apartheid. I'm being called an anti-semite by the people who killed my ancestors for telling them to stop killing Palestinians. They are weaponising anti-semitism."
My family in #Gaza needs your help, my kind people 🙏 The situation is beyond description. We have lost everything 🥹 The only safe place is when I get out of the crossing 💔 Your support and support, even if you participate, will make a big difference

For a week I embedded myself with Jewish Israeli nationalists who believe it’s a worthy cause and religious duty to block desperately needed humanitarian aid at the Gaza border. They enjoyed pastries with the military while confessing to war crimes and cheering for genocide.

@viinterchild@EvaaEmerald i never expected this from her especially with how she has been vocal about Ukraine and other social/humanitarian issues before. it makes it worse imo
i cant believe i was once close moots w @EvaaEmerald 🤮 i’ll never forget every take discrediting & undermining A4P efforts to call for a ceasefire & donations. i am beyond disgusted. & to think that she dared say she’s pro Palestine while spreading lies and bullying Palestinians
#MeToo unless you’re Palestinian.
In her husband's own words:
They commanded her to remove her clothes and they began beating her.
She pleaded with the occupation criminals, telling them that she was in her fifth month of pregnancy and begged them not to harm her, but they continued assaulting her.
After several hours had passed, they ordered all the women from the area to leave except for her and her children.
They brought her before her husband, relatives and children and then, they raped her.
They ordered the men not to close their eyes, or else they would get shot.
This is just one of countless stories of assault, dehumanization and rape endured by the women of Gaza.
What kind of world do we live in, where women, the essence of life, endure such unimaginably horrific and brutal acts? Acts that defy words, that defy comprehension.
When will the world finally awaken to the heinous war crimes committed by the Israeli regime and hold them accountable for these atrocities?
When will the “world leaders” have the courage to confront these crimes and take decisive action in order to ensure the rights, safety and dignity of these women?
Why is it that when it comes to the plight of Palestinian women, the voices of feminists around the world too often remain silent, as if their pursuit of justice and equality selectively excludes these women?
In a world where feminism claims to be the champion of all rights, it is truly shameful and disgraceful how feminists are absent and silent in the face of the unspeakable horrors inflicted upon Palestinian women.
Shame on us all.
