@dainbramageyt@GhostWriter113@sp0gVG Fair warning that it is perhaps the most schizophrenic and mind melting media you will ever watch. An absolute masterpiece of surrealism, but you will understand 20% of what's happening the first time watching. Only after repeat watches do you see the genius behind its madness.
RFK Jr: We had the highest death rate from covid of any nation on earth
BASH: That's not accurate
RFK Jr: What I said was accurate
BASH: There are other countries that had higher
RFK Jr: When Fauci was mismanaging the pandemic, he was doing it under the Biden administration
@Hyrule79@anime_esh202 He was a bit too touchy feely with fans/coworkers. No one credible ever accused him sexual assault, just being too intimate with physical interactions.
@AOIKEN72 First off, it sounds incredibly exploitative that your creators are paid the same as a fast food worker in our country. Second, the solution really is quite simple
@yamadsumiresult@SetsushiK@4Ud1CCuftl19105 It would take a lot more to explain it fully because it's a complicated history, but they all believe in the same God. However they each believe their religion is that is correct one on worshipping him and about the moral/theological truths
@tmhr238@PC_bug@4Ud1CCuftl19105 I'm not the same person claiming that creators are never harmed by piracy. I don't agree with them that there aren't creators who are angered by it. I wanted to add my view on the general attitude around piracy. You seem very eager to generalize all of us together
@tmhr238@PC_bug@4Ud1CCuftl19105 Instead, they will read/watch the pirated fan translations. If possible and willing, they will then purchase/import official merchandise for works they really enjoyed, viewing it as a form of compensation to the creator for not being able to purchase the original work
@tmhr238@PC_bug@4Ud1CCuftl19105 This reason is why the argument "just come to Japan to buy it" doesn't sit well with many. You are effectively asking them to pay a $1000+ fee just to be able to purchase untranslated copies of manga/anime as opposed to the poorly made and slowly delivered official translations
@tmhr238@PC_bug@4Ud1CCuftl19105 If there is absolutely no access to the product because of discontinuation, then piracy is much more accepted. This is the piracy that those arguing about preservation are in support of.
@SetsushiK@4Ud1CCuftl19105 The Abrahamic view of God is that he is the source and ultimate form of morality. If you debate morality with a devout person you will hear the argument "that you feel that something is moral or immoral is proof God exists. How can you objectively justify morality otherwise?"
@higureshuuen@NathanielKristo And yet when we continue to be passionate about in your works, and are willing to put our own efforts into acquiring and translating them ourselves you call us thieves, belittle us, and act like we are immoral barbarians because of the lengths we will go to to appreciate you
@higureshuuen@NathanielKristo Making it difficult for us to purchase from you, either directly or through middlemen. That until recently it could take months or years for your works to get translated officially, and usually done poorly.
