One small milestone crossed last month. In our 7th year, we are now a team of more than 700 happy clean coders and designers.
Congratulations team. Let's celebrate the milestone without any pressure, no targets or rates that we need to achieve.
Let us enjoy the journey!
“I don’t care how many hours you work, as long as you get the work done”, is a big trap!
It may give a false sense of freedom and flexibility, but the reality is usually different.
In most setups with this philosophy, the work never gets ‘done’.
We crossed $20 million ARR last month (currently 21+). We continue being self funded and profitable.
We operate with an ideal work-life balance, without any late night or weekend work for anyone.
There are no extra working hours using terms like ‘entrepreneurship’, ‘growth’..
Coditas crossed 10 crores in monthly revenues in August.
We continue to be profitable with no debts and zero funding.
In the past, I have also incorrectly said no investors.
I will myself; we do have investors.
Our team!
Investing the most valuable asset, their time.
If the founder or your manager is putting in extra hours, that in no way obligates you to put in the extra hours. Their potential rewards are on very different scales. Go beyond the call of duty only if you want to.
@TonyBologni I was trying to be generic about projects in general. Resources could be beyond people and hence used resources. I too do not like using the term resources for people.
A project’s timeline is a function of scope and available resources. To reduce the timeline, you need to increase the resources or/and reduce the scope. Business or client needs it earlier is not a logical answer!
