‘life is a fallacy’ not bec it is false, but bec the things we believe about it often collapse the moment we live through them. we assume permanence where there is none. happiness, contentment, love, pain, disappointment, betrayal, and everything we experience feels absolute in the moment, but it doesn’t. it shifts. it fades. none of it fully stays, but none of it completely disappears either. and maybe bec of that, we don’t really give up the way we think we do. we give up on people, the world, on ourselves, bec it becomes easier to let go of everything at once than to keep believing in something that keeps changing its form. and the moment you start to understand life as a fallacy, when you start to see how everything changes, fades, or breaks, it becomes harder to believe in anything long enough to trust it. not because nothing is real…but because everything is real but only for a while. #essaydump
