MULTI-WORLD CHAMPION!!
I’m officially the only person to become a world champion in call of duty and a guinness world record holder for most pull-ups in 24 hours!
When I was younger my dream was to break the stereotype and achieve high level accomplishments in both gaming and fitness. Life certainly changed my path numerous times, but I am very proud of these two accolades.
The pullup record was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. 16 months, 13 injuries, every single time I grabbed the pullup bar there was never a single break. Not even for a minute. Every session was upwards of 6 hours. Every second was calculated, there was no room for uncertainty since the beginning of training.
It made me crazy. I put so much pressure on myself. I pushed so hard to the point that I cried myself to sleep for months because of the pain. I had days where I couldn’t walk. I lost all the skin on my hands. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t even formulate a sentence to myself in my own head. The setbacks were shattering. It truly never got easier from the beginning to the end. Every day became darker, more intense, and I didn’t even know who I was anymore.
I gave up my dream of competing and making it back into the league, I lost my best friend, I lost a girl I loved, and I felt like my world was falling apart every single day. Slowly but surely, I was very aware of how daunting and impossible it was to continue. I contemplated many things, and would constantly ask myself if there’s any point in continuing forward. I never felt so alone.
The only reason I continued going was because of my trainer. He made everything so easy and taught me everything there is to know about the human body through extreme endurance training. I am beyond grateful to have his expertise because if it wasn’t for him, this wouldn’t be possible. I owe it all to Jaxon, that’s my brother forever.
The reality is that anything is possible if you truly believe in yourself. It’s up to you to make your dreams come true. If you believe in yourself, you’re already half way there 💫
