Luciano Spalletti has emphasised that Juventus must sign players with strong personalities if they are to emerge as genuine title contenders in 2026-27, and the agreement with Emiliano Martínez appears to reflect that philosophy, writes @LoreBetto.

@FallouD20 I don't like him, I'm one of those absolute haters for him specifically and I think he's exactly the kind of bastard we need between the sticks
Not sure why Silvio Baldini's press conference has not gone viral.
The most honest and refreshing presser by an Italian NT Coach
“We’re not at 3 World Cups in a row because in the crooks are in control of Italian football"
@Juventus_Reborn@romeoagresti@juventibus Comolli is a dumbass but he's probably right on Vlahovic — sign him if the money is right. But don't break the bank to sign a striker who
1) obviously has his heart elsewhere
2) doesn't guarantee 20 goals a season
3) is injured every season
@morten_bering@juvenewslive Well I mean we could just sell the club to a bored Saudi royal who needs a hobby to throw billions of Euro at. That seems to have shaped the EPL into the successful model it is today. 🤷🏼♂️
@juvenewslive Absolutely. I watched him play for Atalanta and he's excellent. And he's Italian. This is basically us hoping not to make the same mistake for a second year in a row after being too cheap to sign Calafiori.
@emaxstatman How many players from Juventus can finish like Lichsteiner did here? Our current strikers would balloon that over the bar… assuming they even manage to make it to the ball.
