@Cerebrone All these would make sense if the club he left didn’t win the champions league back to back immediately he left and the team he joined went trophyless twice in a row since he joined
There’s a general need to stick it to Ronaldo that is quite obsessive. If you hate the guy, you should have reached the mountain when his rival won the World Cup 4 years ago.
To still feel the need to remain this obsessed with sticking it to him is weird.
**Yes, the Ronaldo quote is real.**
In Feb 2016, after Real Madrid lost to Atlético, CR7 told COPE radio:
“If everyone was as good as me, maybe we would be first. If a team does not play with the best, it is difficult to win a long competition.”
He later clarified he was referring to teammates’ physical/fitness levels, not skill or effort. The graphic matches the original reporting exactly.
A Ronaldo fan would say “the system is against him” and then you ask him him to show you one time the system robbed him of something and gave it to Messi and they suddenly start grasping at straws. Most of them don’t even know anything about football , just social media rhetorics
Dey there. During the 2005 World Youth Championship Final against Nigeria, Messi was given 2 undeserved penalties and Argentina ended up winning that match 2-1. Prior to his goals, he had difficulty making an impact on the game as the Nigerian team contained his dribbling. He didn’t do much. I watched that game live and knew something wasn’t right. Nigeria was clearly the better team. FIFA was pushing Messi then as the next Maradona and that was all we heard during that tournament from the commentators.
2 years later in 2007 when Kaka won the Ballon D’or, Messi finished 3rd on the voting list and 2nd on the FIFA world best player of the year above players like Didier Drogba, Steven Gerrard ,Pirlo and Ronaldo who’s only rival that year was Kaka. Messi did nothing that year except his incredible goal that reminded the world of Maradona’s goal against England during the World Cup. The dude only scored 14 La Liga goals and won no significant trophies. He even finished above Ruud Van Nistelrooy who won the La Liga in his first season and was also the Top Scorer. I have followed Messi’s career and despite loving his play style, I cannot fully support him. I hate corruption in all forms.
@Cerebrone@ovie_tag Abeg come off your high horse . When he was temporarily on top he was the one even sticking it to the other guy and not even his fans . Don’t act like it’s just one party being obsessed
