“Why are we meeting?” Is a question I have asked myself too many times. Only 15 minutes into this session on “purpose-first agenda setting” and already have a handy framework to think through when building agendas. #iste#ISTELive#ISTELive25@ash_helms@tvansoelen
Second #rtmk12 in the books and I can’t speak highly enough to the quality of this conference. The format, the speakers, it’s a really great opportunity for division leaders. @RTM_BG
Love starting my morning with a little Jungian Psychology. Great workshop from Dr. Thomas Dolan on applying the Johari window, a self awareness and reflective framework, to division environments. #rtmk12@RTM_BG
“Not endorsing AI, ignoring AI, not teaching AI to students is handicapping them and setting your school division up for failure.” -@fogarty22 PREACH! #rtmk12@RTM_BG
Two simple questions we should be asking about any initiative. And not just during the project planning phase but intentionally revisiting after initial implementation and further down the road. #rtmk12@RTM_BG#edtech
Really thought provoking session yesterday about the history of education reform and what’s next. I will be thinking about this content for weeks to come. Hope #rtmk12 brings this speaker back for future events. @RTM_BG
Ay, ay, ay I can’t believe this is the last day of #rtmk12 Innovation Forum in #Baltimore. Found this gem at a Pierce’s Park across the street. Hope everyone found their conference time fulfilling but also got a chance to explore! @RTM_BG@WaterfrontPB
Instructional coherence in your district starts with PD for all staff (admin too!) on understanding what high quality instruction really looks like. Developing “I can…” statements for skills like Critical Thinking can help make the conceptual concrete. #rtmk12@RTM_BG
Met with @briskteaching at #rtmk12 Innovation Forum. Impressed to see they’ve added a student facing component. AI for students is just as important as it is for our staff. @RTM_BG
“Move the young people to the front of the room and the adults to the back to listen for decision making conversations.” -Dr. Andre Spencer #rtmk12@RTM_BG
Great reminder yesterday at #rtmk12 — Maslow’s hierarchy of needs isn’t just for students! Your staff and YOU need to meet your own needs to avoid dysregulation. That’s why I was in bed by 9PM…drafting this tweet 😂 @RTM_BG
“Our biggest EdTech failure: no marketing plan” @brandonlanger led a great session that really got us thinking about the creative potential and power of marketing #rtmk12@RTM_BG
Appreciate the vulnerability and reflection that @raineylbriggs shared as the #rtmk12 keynote so others can thoughtfully prepare and intentionally respond to a viral moment. @RTM_BG
