Our nonprofit, The Real Historic Greenville Pickens Speedway and a buyer , is actively working and negotiating to purchase the track from the current owner. Meetings have been positive, progress is being made, and demolition efforts have been stopped for now while we work toward a contract.
What has happened next has been nothing short of incredible.
When we asked local businesses if they would be willing to help restore the speedway if the property is secured, more than 100 businesses stepped forward offering pro bono services. Contractors. Electricians. Plumbers. Landscapers. Painters. Construction companies. People willing to donate their time, talent, and resources because they believe this racetrack is worth saving.
This is not a fight against the community.
The community stands with Greenville Pickens Speedway.
This racetrack represents generations of memories, racers, families, and fans. It represents a piece of NASCAR history that deserves another chapter.
Our nonprofit has already accomplished what many believed was impossible. We stood up against overwhelming odds and kept this historic facility from being lost. Now we face our biggest challenge: securing the funding needed to complete the purchase and restore Greenville Pickens Speedway for future generations.
We’re asking NASCAR leaders, teams, sponsors, and corporations to join us.
If an entire community can rally behind a racetrack… If more than 100 businesses are willing to donate their work… If thousands of supporters have signed petitions and raised their voices…
Then surely we can get some funding to save one of America’s most historic short tracks.
The time is now.
Help us preserve history. Help us create opportunities for future racers. Help us bring Greenville Pickens Speedway back to life.

Ken Squier once called this man’s grip on the steering wheel the “Arkansas handle”.

Kyle Busch's hauler with name sitting alone waiting to park. And for a second week in a row his No. 8 sits by itself at the top of the scoring tower here at Nashville.
I believe this was after winning the Triple Truck Challenge, KB took the entire $125k prize money and split it up among KBM employees. That’s a HUGE deal for a truck team. It’s nice to work for a BAMF!!
