Congratulations to the entire SpaceX team on an exciting second integrated flight test of Starship!
Starship successfully lifted off under the power of all 33 Raptor engines on the Super Heavy Booster and made it through stage separation
Starship stacked for flight. This is another chance to put Starship in a true flight environment, maximizing how much we learn.
Rapid iterative development is essential as we work to build a fully reusable launch system capable of carrying satellites, payloads, crew, and cargo to a variety of orbits and Earth, lunar, and Martian landing sites
Congrats to SpaceX for completing & documented the 57 items required by the FAA for Flight 2 of Starship!
Worth noting that 6 of the 63 items refer to later flights.
Great explanation. When a government agency adds caveats like “SpaceX still must take corrective actions before a launch permit can be issued”, that is *not* implying that SpaceX has not already taken them. It’s just the legally cautious way the government writes.
