Why do people write tweets like this?
Where every sentence gets a new line.
Sometimes a line might have two sentences. Like this one.
But generally speaking, every sentence has a new line, making a tweet look like a long block of text that no one reads.
Worse still, such tweets are often repetitive and winding, hammering on the same point over and over again.
The writing is often very bad.
Launched my first app today. Stoneage: Stone & Pounds.
Born of frustration that Apple Health didn't talk stone and pounds when logging bodyweight, Stoneage shows your current weight in the units you trust.
Stoneage brings the big dial to your pocket, just like proper scales.
I'm still not over this. £5 for Colgate Mouthwash. You could buy that or you could buy a pint, and the alcohol would also clean your mouth biome, and put you in a better mood.
my politics are whichever party will go full gestapo on everyone who made mouthwash FIVE WHOLE POUNDS
seriously who is buying this at that price?? It's not even listerine!
@lala_byrinth @AXS_UK It was caused by my email address being an obscure email provider. When I switched to use an old Gmail it worked. I wish they were clear that some email providers are blacklisted.
@AXS_UK trying to buy tickets for MBV but it says 'payment problem'- I've had this problem all morning and I'm watching the seats fill, I need to DM you ASAP
ah yes, the Microsoft marketing guide:
> something is vaguely successful
> slap its name on other vaguely related products
meaning is diluted but who cares, it's brand recognition!
