So, I learned one VITAL lesson in the #WendyWilliamsDoc and #WendyWilliamsMovie!! Always be a Wendy Williams (depend on yourself), dream big, and NEVER, EVER be a #SharinaHudson (depend on a married man’s wife income)!!!
⚜️🙏 Game Day Prayer — New Orleans Saints vs. Detroit Lions 🙏⚜️
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up the New Orleans Saints as they take the field against the Detroit Lions. Lord, as this new season begins, we ask that the Holy Ghost cover every Saints player, coach, trainer, and staff member from the opening kickoff until the final whistle. Surround this team with Your protection, strength, peace, and wisdom.
Father, I especially pray for Tyler Shough as he leads this offense. Give him confidence, patience, accuracy, and wisdom when reading the defense. Keep his mind calm under pressure and help him make the right decisions with the football. Protect him in the pocket and give the offensive line strength to keep him standing. Let Tyler step onto that field believing in himself and trusting the preparation that brought him to this moment.
Lord, please protect every Saints player from injury. We have already seen too many players dealing with injuries, so we ask for Your covering over their knees, ankles, shoulders, heads, backs, muscles, and entire bodies. Protect them through every tackle, block, run, catch, and collision. We also continue to pray for every injured Saint — bring healing, restoration, patience, and strength throughout their recovery.
Father, bless the Saints offense today. Let the running game be powerful, the passing game be sharp, the offensive line stand strong, and the receivers secure the football. Bless the Saints defense with discipline, communication, turnovers, pressure, strong tackling, and the strength to get off the field on third down. Let special teams execute their assignments with confidence.
Give Coach Kellen Moore wisdom throughout this game. Help him know when to run, when to pass, when to be aggressive, and when to remain patient. Give the entire coaching staff clarity to make the right adjustments when Detroit presents challenges.
Lord, I also pray for peace and sportsmanship between the Saints and Lions. Let there be no fighting, dirty plays, unnecessary arguments, or retaliation. Allow both teams to compete hard while respecting one another, and protect players on both sides of the football.
Father, we ask for victory for the New Orleans Saints today. Let this team begin the season with confidence, unity, determination, and belief. Whatever happens on that field, help every Saint give his very best and represent New Orleans with pride.

Father, cover Who Dat Nation as well. Protect every Saints fan traveling to Detroit and everyone watching and supporting the black and gold from New Orleans and around the world. Let us enjoy this game together with joy, unity, and gratitude.
Holy Ghost, cover our Saints. Lord, heal the injured, protect the healthy, strengthen Tyler Shough, guide Kellen Moore, bless our offense and defense, and bring our team safely through this game.
