Prices are rising faster than paychecks.
Average wages haven't kept pace with inflation, which means the purchasing power of the typical paycheck has been falling.
I explain what's driving it—and why the headlines are likely to get louder: https://t.co/kolre4RGsk
All the people outside of California who know nothing about our elections, keep making conspiracy claims. We will laugh and enjoy the sunshine, the beaches and the Dodgers. This is how real democracy works.
For anyone who’s ever faced a personal challenge, it doesn’t get much better than the 'Six Minutes' speech in VISION QUEST. This scene wasn’t in the 1979 novel by Terry Davis. Elmo's monologue was written specifically for the film by screenwriter Darryl Ponicsan (THE LAST DETAIL, TAPS). Actor J. C. Quinn absolutely knocks it out of the park here.
If you’d like to support the @FMJDiary project, you can bid on an original poster below. I signed and inscribed it with Elmo’s iconic line: “It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.”

Men die by suicide at 4x the rate of women and one of the biggest drivers of that is that men are less likely to ask for help. Dana White is proof that you can be very rich and still an idiot.
The Trump Administration which created 1.8 million less jobs in 2025 than 2024, desperately want to pin the 17,000 Spirit jobs on Biden, which would bring their deficit down to 1,783,000 fewer jobs.
The party of free markets, of Reagan, the intellectual heirs of Milton Friedman, the champions of market forces over big government, and of free enterprise and small business over the jackboots of government intervention.

“I don’t give a damn when we play, where we play, who we play, bc we’ve done it and we still end up here. But I’m just telling you the student athletes experience sucks compared to the men’s experience”
Geno’s comments last year. He stays on their NECKS
“I am neither an isolationist nor a hawk on Iran. If their proxies attack us, we should hammer them. President Trump was justified and correct for killing Qasem Soleimani, and he was bold in taking him off the battlefield, but then he didn’t get suckered into a regime change war in a massive country like Iran. I have never been in favor of a regime change war inside of Iran. If they attack us, we hit them back, but going in there for a prolonged war is exactly how you strengthen the hardliners, create more terrorism, and get stuck in another 20-year conflict.”

It's not just a blip. Increasingly oil futures markets are suggesting that the Iran war is going to have (or has already had) effects that will last for years.
Lower oil prices are largely reliant on spare capacity as it removes alot of risk from the market. When the oil on the water is gone, and the oil in tanks is gone, you have zero spare capacity and that introduces a new kind of risk and keep prices elevated much longer. This is why the end of the war will not result in pre war prices.
So now we are blaming Biden for the disruption in Lng due to the Iran war because of his temporary pause on new permitting even though it didn’t apply to terminals under construction or new permits that had been approved and couldn’t even possibly impact exports until 2028 at the earliest but most like 2030?
