I saw Phoebe Bridgers last night, in an arena, with no phones allowed.
During the encore, she played Scott Street and they turned the lights all the way up. People swayed side to side, waving their arms.
~15,000 people, and you could see every face, unobstructed, smiling.
It was surreal: an experience unimaginable in the last 10 years, and yet something you would have experienced at any arena show 25 years ago. It made me feel very human.
Forget about the snubs (and there were a lot). This might be one of the most flawless lineups ever for supporting actress. All performances are bangers and any win would make sense.
