🚨 RUSSO BROTHERS JUST CHANGED THE GAME.
"What you’ve been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. They are stories. They are clues."
The #DoomsdayHasBegun campaign isn't just marketing; it’s the first act of the movie playing out in real-time.
If you look closely at the four "chapters" released so far, the Russo Brothers have revealed the entire structural blueprint of AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY.
CHAPTER 1: THE ANCHOR (Steve Rogers & The Butterfly Effect)
The first "story" gave us Chris Evans. But this isn't the Cap we know. He’s older, wearing 1950s civilian clothes, holding a child.
THE CLUE: In the background of the kitchen scene, there is a calendar marked "August 1961." This is the exact month and year Fantastic Four #1 was published.
THE STORY: Steve Rogers staying in the past didn't just give him a happy ending; it created a "Nexus Point." By living a life he wasn't supposed to have, Steve became the "Anchor" for a timeline that shouldn't exist. Doom’s motivation isn't just power it’s "Correction." He views these branching lives as "rot" in the Multiverse. Steve isn't a hero in Doom’s eyes; he’s a temporal criminal.
CHAPTER 2: THE DIVINE (Thor’s Prayer & The Loss of Magic)
The second story showed a decimated New Asgard. Thor is praying, but the lightning is Red, not Blue.
THE CLUE: Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, is shown with hairline fractures glowing with green energy. This is the signature color of Victor von Doom’s sorcery (a blend of science and magic).
THE STORY: Doom has already begun harvesting the "Life Force" of the gods. In the comics, Doom becomes God Emperor by stealing the power of the Beyonders. Here, the clue suggests he is systematic. He is taking out the heavy hitters (Thor, Strange, Wanda) first to ensure no one can challenge his "New World" order. When Thor asks for "one last enemy," he’s not talking about a villain. He’s talking about a Force of Nature.
CHAPTER 3: THE APOCALYPSE (The Fox Universe & The Incursion)
This was the "Legacy" teaser. We saw Stewart, McKellen, and Marsden. But look at the sky.
THE CLUE: The sky in the X-Men teaser is white. Pure, blinding white. In Marvel lore, this is the visual hallmark of an Incursion two worlds colliding until they both cease to exist.
THE STORY: The Russos are telling us that the Fox Universe is the first "sacrifice." Doom isn't just letting these universes die; he’s "salvaging" them. The teaser ends with Magneto looking up and saying, "He’s not a mutant, and he’s not a man." He’s describing a god. This confirms Doom is using the destruction of the X-Men’s world to build his own throne.
CHAPTER 4: THE COLLISION (Wakanda & The First Steps)
The final story showed Shuri and M’Baku meeting Ben Grimm (The Thing) in a wasteland.
THE CLUE: Shuri is holding a device that looks like a modified version of the "Temporal Loom" tech from Loki. It’s flickering.
THE STORY: This is the most vital clue. It tells us that the "616" MCU (Wakanda) and the "Fantastic Four" universe have already collided. The "clue" is that they aren't fighting. They are surviving. The Russos are hinting that Avengers: Doomsday won't be a "Versus" movie like Civil War. It’s a "Refugee" movie. Everyone is a survivor of a dead world, and Victor von Doom is the only one who offered them a home (Battleworld).
