@JPintheOC@NewportBeachLG I think 36th. At the very start of the video you can see an other jetty to the north, so it’s not 56th. 56th is the last jetty.
At the very end of the video, you can see water beyond Balboa Ave which looks like the area just beyond the park.
@BeatlemaniaUK It’s all opinion, but this is wrong. John’s songs were much stronger when he was with the Beatles. Paul’s solo stuff was also better than John’s. Both were better together.
@BeatlesEarth@robsheff@RollingStone I’m a little concerned about the addition of the harmonies from the three songs mentioned. I feel like I’ll be trying to listen for the Because part, or the Rigby section. It sound a little strange, but I’ll withhold judgment until I hear it.
@BeatlesEarth It’s interesting to see the distribution between John, Paul and George songs that remain. It’s a testament to George that his songs stand up with the best of those from John and Paul.
@BeatlesEarth I’ve always felt John’s rhythm guitar playing drives this song. When I watch this, I’m focused on that, even though it’s Paul’s song.
Also, and maybe I’m wrong, I always thought John and George did the harmony on the last verse, but here it’s just George, and it sounds good.
@DodgerInsider Are you aware you slightly mispronounce Vin Scully’s last name? I hear you pronounce it like the chewing tobacco “Skoal” and not like the word “Skull.” It’s a subtle difference, and maybe I’m the only one who notices it.
It’s not a huge thing, but I suspect you’d want to know.
@drewvader_21 @DodgersNation Gallo instead of Thomspson. It would have created a lefty/righty matchup and Gallo hits 3-run homers. Trayce looked outmatched every AB.
