If you’re serious about prop trading, you have to respect risk. Operating within 0.5% to 2% per trade isn’t being conservative, it’s being professional.

At evaluation phase you can risk up to 2% if the prop permits but when you reach the live phase, aim for 1% risk or less per trade if you want real psychological balance.

→ At that level, you stay calm.
→ You make better decisions.
→ You avoid emotional swings.

Consistency is not built on oversized wins, it’s built on controlled risk and disciplined execution.
