@ichthusbeard That was a tough break. He played a good game as a whole, and I agree with the idea of going to the rim there. But he’s too small. Too easy to defend his shot. The real head scratcher is why they didn’t run thru Ament down the stretch. He’s the best at creating contact.

@ichthusbeard I can’t fathom how poor of a defensive product we put on the field this season, with all of the NIL money put into our roster. I get we had some bad injuries. But today? That wasn’t our 2 corners making bad plays. Just astounding how poor they were this season.

@potatokmish @TheChadWithrow @SteveLayman I would agree, except that UT has beaten both of those same teams. And split the H2H with UF. It’s really the extra 2 losses that dings UT. But, they played and won more Q1 games because of the tougher SOS 🤷🏻‍♂️ just feels like splitting hairs, and this game should decide it IMO

@potatokmish @TheChadWithrow @SteveLayman Tennesseee has more Q1 wins and has also played more Q1 games than UF. That’s the arguement. UF passes the eye test as the final #1 seed IMO. But if UT were to win the head to head tomorrow, hard to imagine those metrics not putting them on the 1 line.

@ichthusbeard Just shows the talent differential at the top top. Happy to have to taken the next step, but the way we played against UGA and now OSU shows you that elite teams (and coaches) are able to scheme based on our weaknesses and exploit them with their superior talent.

@vol4Iife @wesrucker247 It’s true. You can tell with the play calling and how limited the passing game is. I bet 75% of our throws are at the line of scrimmage. And after what we saw the last 2 years, it’s obvious that the QB is the reason.

@ichthusbeard It’s just a comedy of errors in all 3 road losses. Drives being killed by holding penalties, turnovers, defensive busts… and eventually, in each game, negative plays pile up and suddenly the dam breaks. We got in our own way in each game. And then defense finally collapses.

@wesrucker247 I need to see what this team does during the toughest portion of its SEC schedule. The first few weeks have been fairly light. Things are going to get tough pretty soon, and I want to see how they match up in those sort of games. So I’m cautious until I’ve seen that.
