Checking Candidates’ Registration Status via SMS
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has introduced an SMS service that enables candidates, parents, and guardians to verify the registration status of candidates.
To check a candidate’s registration status, users should send the candidate’s full index number via SMS to 6600.
UNEB encourages parents and guardians to take an active interest in the registration process and to verify the accuracy of all information submitted on behalf of their children.
The Board further reminds learners, parents, and Heads of Examination Centres that the use of erasable pens is strictly prohibited in all UNEB examinations.

Student Spotlight:
Today, we give the spotlight to Equator University Medical Students Association for conducting a blood donation drive on 15/04/2026. The blood donation drive was conducted with a strong turnout from both students and staff. The activity ran smoothly, with many participants willingly donating blood while others showed interest in supporting future drives.
Overall, the objective of mobilizing donors was achieved, and the event had a positive impact , a true reflection of student leadership, compassion, and commitment to saving lives.
Blood is in scarcity in many hospitals, and so contributing to this cause is a heroic act. We thank all those who participated and pray that you are blessed.
Thank you for your support towards making this initiative possible.
