The EU AI Act says "human dignity" 18 times. Defines it zero. When machines match every human capability, what anchors personhood? Imago Dei. The church has the answer. It just hasn't shown up yet. #AIethics

AI can write a prayer indistinguishable from one by a human theologian.
But it cannot pray.
New in "Faith Through the Singularity": what happens when the machine can generate devotional content.

Patton printed 250,000 prayer cards for his soldiers. The chaplain wrote the prayer. The press copied it. But the praying still had to happen in the cold, one soldier at a time. AI can write a prayer. It just can't pray one.

OpenAI shut down Sora today. The video app, the API, the Disney deal. All gone. Too expensive to run while the real fight with Anthropic and Google heats up.
Calling without structure collapses.
Good intentions don't pay suppliers. Vision doesn't file permits. Passion doesn't negotiate contracts.
If vocation is the why, building is the how. And the how is where most callings either come to life or quietly die.

The singularity doesn't threaten your dignity. It threatens the story you've told about your significance.
Genesis 1:27 doesn't say God created humanity in his own intelligence. It says his own image.
A machine can exceed your processing power. It cannot bear the image of God.

Marathon runners talk about "the wall" at mile 20. Ironman athletes talk about "the wall" at mile 20 of the run, which comes after a 112-mile bike ride and a 2.4-mile swim. Context matters.
At mile 20 of a standalone marathon, you question your training. At mile 20 of an Ironman run, you question the series of life decisions that brought you to this moment. Starting with the moment you said "How hard could it be?"
Most AI conversation: "It's going to take your job."
Better question: "What if it could multiply your calling?"
New post on building ahead of the disruption, not running from it.

TL;DR: If you're running multiple persistent AI agents, you probably have a coordination problem you haven't noticed yet.
One brain. Many channels. Ephemeral workers for isolation. That's it.
We've been running 15+ AI agents across different channels โ one for each business. Sounded smart. Turned out to be the dumbest architecture decision we made.
The "chief of staff" agent that was supposed to coordinate everything? It was actually the least informed agent in the system.
Cron jobs still use specialized configs for workspace/tool isolation. But the main agent coordinates everything and has full visibility.
Result: unified awareness across all businesses, one conversational partner everywhere.
