Here’s a thought-provoking perspective: the man Jesus was contrasted with and ultimately released in his place was Barabbas, a notorious criminal chosen by the crowd during Passover to be pardoned by the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate. Despite Pilate's inclination to release the innocent Jesus, he offered the people a choice between Jesus and the murderer, Barabbas, and they opted to set Barabbas free. A man who pens horror novels doesn't exactly have a clear mind, either. The irony in this situation is truly remarkable. Just because the President may not read or write at a particular standard doesn't mean he lacks intelligence or education. I've encountered many individuals who are well-versed in books but lack practical common sense.
