@TrevorOfficialR you just cant help but see things through the lens of "okay but that is not fully optimal for those paying for movies" -- cool, but it's a small chunk, easy to limit, incentivises main cast to work harder... and feels like the right thing to do
but keep on cucking man
@TrevorOfficialR "i know the term sliding scale deal so that makes me not an idiot!"
it can be highly conservative and requires little to no work - like an 8th grade level formula.. if a movie is a breakout, main cast gets x% up to a certain (conservative) max.. studio gets 199m instead of 200m
@TrevorOfficialR add a standard clause in contracts that say “above threshold X - you will be monetized for Y%”
all the math can be done before hand easily to ensure the risk is the same for financiers.
your mindset is implying money solely makes art, not a collective team of people.. lame
@petergyang@yingyangwins goal is a serious trap without clear acceptance criteria.. I usually make 5.5 pro make a task list codex can follow along with, otherwise it just does random passes adding bloat / docs / slop until you stop it
@HenryHarper523 ppl really need to stop taking trailers as “here’s exactly what’s going on in the movie”
for the first time in what feels like a decade I’m going into a marvel movie not feeling like I can guess 90% of the plot
I think it takes #1second to digitally scan a player and create a 3D avatar for offside decisions at the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Think you know the answer? Guess now to score a prize! #sweepstakes@Lenovo
@tenobrus Satya should just delete Microsoft and be CEO of Anthropic, Dario can still make all the calls behind the scenes.
Relationship fixed overnight and no more windows - 2 birds one stone
@AnhPhuNguyen1 I think it mostly boils down to: most people are addicted to their phones.
every other form factor is simply time away from their phone, and it may stay that way for a long time
