@RightToLifeUK Hands off our Health Service, the one which saves lives.
Starmer should have stopped this nonsense long ago when it was clear that nutters had taken over.
He is accountable, Private Members Bill or not.
@nmdacosta That is not law making, that is just anarchy and putting the means to kill in the hands of unqualified people. Leadbetter is an accessory to multiple murder if she gets thisBill through.
L
@RightToLifeUK@Rebecca_SPaul My wife had a long career as a midwife in the NHS.
made her anti-abortion views clear, opted out of all participation.
If she had been required to contribute to abortions she would have left immediately.
good people do object to abortion and euthanasia.
@RightToLifeUK They are beyond parody because the pro-death advocates have lost all the common decency and scruples normal people work to.
I hope they go to see the result of their viciousness.
@Peston One of the problems facing people who fall out of employment is that Employment Tribunals no longer help the disabled enforce the Equality Acts. Their complexity, time limits and the lawyers notably those representing Public Sector bodies use every trick to win.
@RichardBurgon Labour could have done simple things to help the disabled and poor into work. The Law Commission years ago said the time limit for bringing Employment Tribunal actions should be doubled to six months. It makes the Equality Act effective.
@RightToLifeUK With respect, the abyss you will face at the end of life will not be easily bridged by Leadbetters process. The pharmacy is not determined, the possibility of a long, mangled death is very real.
And no-one's hand to hold.
@BareReality The greater the undemocratic rejection of reasonable amendment the greater the revulsion at the Bill and the public outcry.
Expect crowds outside the abattoirs, police protection for crematorium vans.
The old, the disabled the sick removed by force.
In Starmer's name.
@spucprolife@ToniaAntoniazzi They are not learning. The Electorate disapproves of arbitrary death as shown by the opposition to assisted death.
Labour, the Party of Death need to be sensitive to the changed public perceptions towards eugenics.
@RightToLifeUK What a waste of the power and the hope electors vested in the Labour Party. Now seen as the Party of Death it had an opportunity to do positive things but wasted precious Parliamentary time on this unwanted, thoroughly bad nonsense.
