Christian, married with grown children, grands and fur babies. I love my country and my President. A bit sarcastic in a humorous way. My opinions are my own.
True story here. I was in my late 40s and had to go to the doctor for my annual check up. For some reason I decide I could jump over the holly bushes that lined the walkway. I made it over the bushes but landed on my hands and knees scrapping both. An elder gentleman was coming out of a door and politely helped me up. Blood was streaming down my legs. I was so embarrassed and wished the ground would open up and swallow me. My husband still teases me about it. I'm just glad cellphones weren't popular back then.
"He's been sitting there for six hours." Every single day for the last four months, Zeus has waited on these steps. Same spot. Same time. Same eyes on that driveway. He doesn't know that Dad isn't coming home this time. He just knows the smell of his truck, the sound of his keys, the way he always said "Zeus, I'm home, buddy" before he even got through the door. The doctors say it was sudden. We weren't ready. Zeus definitely wasn't. Some days I sit with him out here and we just… wait together. Because I don't have the heart to tell him to stop. Maybe he knows something I don't. Maybe that's just love — the kind that doesn't need an explanation. If this touched your heart, drop a ❤️ below. @ballsdeepindoge We drove from Maryland to Georgia and back once per moth for over a year. We always took our 3 cats. The two girls were fine and spent the time looking out the window. But the boy howled and cried the entire trip. Sitting in the traffic on the Capital beltway was terrible.
President Trump is right:
It shouldn’t be this hard to pass the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship and voter ID.

@ScottPresler an ironic story: Yesterday I was looking to get an America the Beautiful park pass. US citizens (and residents with a green card) pay $80 per year and others pay $250 per year. However, in order to get the lower price you are required to show your ID! Not only that, you cannot buy a park pass for another person since your ID must match the information used to purchase the pass. You have to show your ID every time you go to a National Park and use the pass.
All of those arguments from the left side about how voter ID would disenfranchise women, elderly people and minorities really cannot withstand scrutiny. Just another item to put on my list of things I have to show ID for (such as renting a car, a hotel room or going to the Obama Presidential Library). Yet, the most important thing we can do for our country is to vote...😊
