OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT,

Your Excellency, Mr. President,
Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

I am writing to bring to your attention, with utmost respect and patriotism, the pressing concerns affecting Northern Nigeria, specifically the states of Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, and Niger. These states are grappling with severe challenges, including insecurity, bandit attacks, kidnappings, and economic decline, which have resulted in food shortages, rising prices, and increased poverty.

Farmers and herders are unable to engage in their activities peacefully, leading to a decline in agricultural productivity. Many young people in the region have lost employment opportunities, while others have fallen into hardship and despair.

Your Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, this issue is not merely a regional problem; it is a national concern that threatens the overall progress of the country. If the North attains peace and economic stability, Nigeria as a whole will prosper further.

Therefore, we respectfully urge your administration to take sustainable measures, including:

1. Strengthening security by increasing the number of security personnel, improving intelligence gathering, and providing modern equipment.

2. Revitalizing agriculture and livestock production through subsidies, provision of loans to farmers, and protection of farmlands.

3. Creating employment opportunities for youth by investing in industries, small businesses, and vocational training programs.

4. Improving education and healthcare to reduce illiteracy and poverty, and to build a sustainable future for the community.

We are confident that, as President, you will utilize the opportunity granted to you to bring meaningful change to the lives of the people of this region and Nigeria as a whole.

May God grant you wisdom, patience, and the strength to carry out this responsibility with justice and integrity.
