Many young people in Japan are indifferent to tragedies happened in Japan. I sincerely hope as many people as possible all over the world watch this movie, and Japanese people should be realized the importance of knowing facts. As a Japanese, I long for #ReleaseMinamata

I went to Minamata city to watch the movie "MINAMATA" with my kids.Johnny Depp acted as a photographer Eugene Smith who spread the fact of Mindmata disease to the world. our turn will come soon to hand down the sad history to the next generation. I want my kids to know about

I live near minamata,so I am interested in this topic in particular.I tweeted both in Japanese and English,but almost all reactions were from foreigners to Japanese tweet too. I hope this movie will tell young people the importance to contemplate it.

I will treasure it and never forget the lesson Eugene taught us through his life.

sad history not to make same mistakes and to be thoughtful about others. I'd like to do as much as I can for the future and respect the people who tried hard in the past. peace is the most difficult subject,but I'll built it from around myself.

today I had to take my kids extra classes! It takes about 45min for one way😅so I listened to podcast for studying English while driving🚗after the classes we ate ra-men🍜It was soooo delicious😋and now my kids are selecting pokemon cards🃏
