We participated in the ISQua International Conference in Dublin, Ireland, joining global leaders in healthcare quality, patient safety and health-system improvement.

BMF was represented by Dr.Henry Kweka, Program Manager Service Delivery, who presented an abstract on the Foundation’s collaboration with @wizara_afyatz @mohznz1 and @IrishHealth to strengthen quality improvement capacity within primary healthcare.

The work highlights the application of structured, practice-based learning and implementation approaches aimed at translating quality improvement competencies into measurable changes in service delivery.

Africa CDC Boosts Kenya’s Ebola Response with Critical Laboratory Supplies

Today, Africa CDC strengthened Kenya’s Ebola response with the handover of *400 Ebola detection tests, 500 extraction kits, laboratory consumables and protective coveralls.*

Dr Lul Pout Riek, Africa CDC Special Regional Representative for the Eastern Africa RCC, handed over the supplies on behalf of Director General H.E. Dr Jean Kaseya to Esther Sigilai, Director of National Laboratory Services and Biosecurity at KNPHI.

The support will strengthen rapid testing and laboratory readiness.

We are equipping Community Health Workers (CHWs) with practical knowledge and skills on E-Cooking from using electric cooking technologies to educating households on the benefits of clean, safe and efficient cooking.

Because CHWs are more than health educators; they are trusted voices within their communities.

By empowering them with the right knowledge, we are taking the clean cooking conversation from the training room to homes, households and communities.
