Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" breaks the all-time record for biggest single day streams for a country song by a female artist in Spotify history.
Spoke with Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott this afternoon who says coming out of the weekend, he is "very optimistic" and that "we will likely know in 30 days---or sooner---if Hammond will be an NFL city." @IIB
As IMPD works the homicide investigation of 23-year-old Brett Scrogham we are learning more about him as friends want to share the man they knew.
James Wilson told me, “Brett and I met in the 8th grade through a robotics tournament but reconnected in college. Over the last 4 years we became very close and bonded over the shared interests in cars, business, and real estate. He was in my wedding this year.”
“Brett and I had breakfast before our graduation ceremony on May 16th. I was planning on paying but he stole the check and insisted on paying. I said fine, but the next time we have breakfast I’m paying. We planned on breakfast and golf on June 13th, I’ll never have the opportunity to do that.”
Brett was murdered downtown Indianapolis Thursday in a random act of violence. IMPD is currently working this investigation.
Months after a woman in Florida was pulled over and cited for allegedly driving while holding a phone in her missing right hand, the traffic citation has been dismissed. https://t.co/pblR3upT6f

The most recent rain-shortened #Indy500 was in 2007 when it was called after 166 laps. Only three races were completely postponed (called before the green flag flies) most recently in 1997. The last partial postponement (race starts then rain arrives) was in 1973. #INwx@FOX59
