@willsworldview@5solas So we see animal sacrifices and human sacrifices and idolatry and it gets weird. God intervenes and offers us the gift of Christ, the personification of divine mercy, extended to all people (Luke 2:10), that whosoever accepts him will not perish but have everlasting life.
@willsworldview@5solas That quote is in the Old Testament, a time when man thought we could earn mercy and salvation by performance. And so, knowing that man is too stubborn to simply be told NO, the OT is more or less God giving man room to prove that we can earn mercy and salvation.
Iโm puzzled because why is he targeting the black community in this statement when white people are the biggest group of people receiving public assistance? Somehow we will be the first to suffer?
