It wasn't always like that, death used to be something that was much more out in the open.

Once upon a time when a person died family members and neighbors were the ones who came together and helped prepare a recently deceased body for viewing before carrying them to the cemetery for burial but when commercialization changed that process starting in the 19th century it created this sort of psychological barrier that changed how society relates to death.

Another thing I used to enjoy doing was lay on the ground, look up at the sky, and shift my spatial awareness from looking up to looking out.
