Just wrapped up the #ARSH Regional Research Grants Writing Workshop (Aug 25-29, 2025) organized by @aphrc
A transformative 5-day journey on building strong & fundable research proposals.
Truly empowering for early-career researchers in Africa. 🌍🚀
This week, #IamAPHRC is hosting its Regional Research Grants Writing workshop in Dakar. The event brings together early and mid-career researchers from West and Central Africa to strengthen their skills in developing competitive research proposals through expert guidance, peer reviews, and interactive sessions.
The workshop is part of the Afrique Research Support Hub (ARSH) program, which builds regional expertise to train, mentor, and support African researchers in securing international grants. By strengthening research capacity, ARSH is helping amplify African perspectives and advance knowledge for sustainable development.

It was really nice to spend the whole summer in the UK (148 days ~ 40% of 2024) learning genomics, bioinformatics and results handling from great scientists at @sangerinstitute and @LSTMnews. Thank you for this opportunity!
@malariagenomics
That's a wrap on the #GEM2024 conference!
What an incredible three days filled with inspiring connections, learning, and a vibrant exchange of ideas on the latest developments in malaria genomic epidemiology.
Be sure to follow us to continue the conversation & stay connected✨
Attending to #GEM2024
A very great experience and a good opportunity for meeting high-level scientists working on malaria vector and parasite genomics around the world...
