My first peer reviewed article was just published in the Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy. It is about how we can model our classrooms after Korean pop group BTS’s transboundary inclusiveness. Please read and share! #bts#kpop#AcademicTwitter

RIP Quincy Jones - the legendary music producer has passed away aged 91.
In addition to winning 28 Grammy Awards for his work as a producer, Jones was also the recipient of an Academy Award and an Emmy.
Quincy is filmed here giving "the best advice I ever got"
"I’m so surprised and honoured."
2024 literature laureate Han Kang had just finished dinner with her son at her home in Seoul when she received the news of her #NobelPrize. We spoke to her – moments after she found out about the prize – about growing up with books, being the first South Korean literature laureate and what book she recommends those new to her works should begin with.
Han Kang also tells how she plans to celebrate her Nobel Prize: "I’d like to have tea with my son. I’ll celebrate it quietly."
@AcademicChatter Just published a piece on music fandom (specifically Kpop band BTS) and its implications for more inclusive literacy curriculum design. (If anything, a couple of the citations may be of interest?)

@soulsurferzz @Stevecritical@AlloMumphrey@WSJ If you're genuinely asking, this is a pretty good article. Cites both his expertise and his gripe.Look through the letter for names and creds.Soul asked for a link and I happened to be reading about this at the time. Dumb for me to get involved. Done now. https://t.co/TgFMrqBzWe
@Stevecritical @soulsurferzz @AlloMumphrey@WSJ Discredit them if you want. I disagree, respectfully. That he contributed early on in a decades-long process that involved hundreds of others and became bitter about not being credited is well documented. His current campaign against the tech he wants credit for is weird though?
