A lot of historic context would make today more understandable without just assuming people are being mean to Queen Elizabeth.

We have so many severe problems with clear solutions and for each one there’s always some asshole who’s been paid a million bucks to say “I don’t want to solve that” and then for some reason everyone else has to just shrug and be like “well? what can we do? that asshole said no.”
